Susan Basemera also known as Zani Lady C, has reactivated her music career. The singer who was in California focusing on her acting career recently returned to Uganda for reasons only known to her.
While in Uganda, it is said that the singer decided to do music again after very many years of choking her fans on the classic songs that she did about 10 years ago. The singer teamed up with Nince Henry and together, they did very many musical projects before she returned to handle her businesses in California. The singer before leaving Uganda released one video and audio of the song titled ‘Nindako’.
‘Nindako’ was a success as it was well-received and streamed on various platforms. Shortly after NIndako, the songbird then released ‘Nzembiteleza’, also written by Nince Henry.
Nzembiteleza is a love song produced by Brian Beats. The audio was the first to be released and a few days ago, the singer released the video to the song. According to Zani Lady C, ‘Nzembiteleza’ is the last project she is releasing this year, and next year, her fans should expect more exciting projects.
Besides ‘Nzembiteleza’ and ‘Nindako’, Zani is the voice behind legendary and classical songs like ‘Ndoowa’, ‘Golo Golo’, ‘Chimalo’, and ‘Alululu’, a tribute to fallen singer Fred Masagazi.
