VIDEO: Eric Omondi finally ‘ready for Gen Muhoozi’

Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi in his latest social media skits made a video about Gen Muhoozi Kaineruga’s supposed Nairobi invasion.

In one of the scenes, Omondi who acted as Muhoozi is seen flanked by four other colleagues in military fatigue flying an army helicopter which was supposed to invade Nairobi but ended up in Dubai.

One of Omondi’s troops was taken out by a homeless man on the streets of Dubai without their knowledge. As Omondi and group were still asking for the whereabouts of their colleague, a beautiful woman passed by thus compromising the original mission as all their attention was now drown to the elegant lady in black.

Moments later, the group is seen partying in a dance club as Omondi phone calls his daddy to send more money for him to spend.

He captioned the November 14 video ‘General Muhoozi trying to capture Kenya’ with laughing emojis.

In another tweet he posted a picture and called out the presidential advisor special operations to “bring it on I am ready.”

In October this year, the then commander of UPDF Land Forces, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, said it wouldn’t take his army two weeks to capture Nairobi.

He further said that Uhuru would have won the presidential elections if he had offered to vie for the third time.

“After we capture Nairobi, where should I live? Westlands? Riverside?” he said, adding, “I am happy that members of our district in Kenya have responded enthusiastically to my tweet. It’s still two weeks to Nairobi” he added stirring social media debate which threatened the diplomatic relationship between the two neighbouring countries.

During his twitter meltdown, Uganda First Son further said “I’m glad that I have scared you Kenyans a bit! Two weeks is long. Nairobi in one week for sure! Aided by my brothers from Carnival!”

But the storm was later calmed by President Museveni who apologised on behalf of his son.

“I ask our Kenyan brothers and sisters to forgive us for tweets sent by General Muhoozi, former Commander of Land Forces here, regarding the election matters in that great country. Very sorry, ndugu zetu Wakenya (our brothers, Kenyans). Also sorry to the Ugandans who could have been annoyed by one of their officials meddling in the affairs of brother Kenya,” Museveni said.

Days later, Gen Muhoozi also apologized through his twitter handle.

“I have never had any problem with Afande Ruto. If I made a mistake anywhere, I ask him to forgive me as his young brother. God bless East Africa,” he tweeted.
