Uganda’s Grammy fete continues but this time, not with a nomination. South Africa-based Ugandan musician Ronald Mutebi alias Mc Norman Ganja is among the guests for the 65th annual Grammy celebrations.
Mc Norman Ganja confirmed to Sqoop that he will be attending the Grammy celebrations and the after-party on 5th February 2023
Reggae and dancehall artiste, Mc Norman Ganja is a recording Academy/Grammys voting member.
The singer who will be part of the audience at Crypto Arena in Los Angeles US will be part of the Republic Records Grammy’s A-List after party, an ultra-exclusive, star-studded party that follows the iconic Grammy Awards Ceremony, the night that honours the best artists and technicians of American music.
A son to Afrigo Bands’ legend Eddy Ganja, Norman who is also a famed MC, is a recipient of the UK’s Beffta Awards where he won Best International Act, 2015 AFRIMA Africa Songwriter of the year among others.
At the event, singer Eddy Kenzo who is listed for a Grammy Award nomination will be raising the Ugandan music flag high.
The Grammys will be announced on February 5, 2023, in Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena in a ceremony that will be live on CBS Television and Paramount.
