Two years later, the ASFA fashion weekend graced Kampala again and proved that the capital’s fashion essence is going nowhere. Previously known as the Fashionpreneur Summit, the event is organized by the Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards and seeks to empower young and emerging fashion creatives.
The 3rd edition brings together over 100 fashion creatives. By 11 am on Friday, brands were staged in their pop-up spaces and ready to exhibit in a blend of couture, beauty brands, and artistic/fashionable crafts.
The first day is only for exhibitions and pop-ups, where the public is invited to come and check out these magnificent pieces. Pack your bags now, put some coins in your wallet and make your way to MoTIV. The ASFA Fashion weekend started yesterday and will end today November 12. November 13 will be the Nominee Release party at La Terrazza. If you want to engage with the next generation of groundbreaking fashion inventors, this was the place to be.
This 2-day event featured exhibitions, a business seminar, a workshop, and panel talks. This year’s ASFA’s theme is “The Awakening” and the Fashion Weekend revolves around the topics of Global Markets, Digital Fashion, Recovery, and Brand Growth & Profitability. The panel talks happened today which is also the last day of the workshop.
