Beenie Man arrives ahead of concert

For a few weeks now, posters of Dancehall artiste Moses Davis popularly known by his stage Beenie Man have been making rounds on social media. Aside from the posters, there has not been much talkability about the show that is also going to have performances from Nigeria’s Oxlade among other acts. For several weeks, there was speculation that the 49- year- old Kingston-based singer would perform in Uganda.

While many doubted the show would happen, the organizer who is known as Top Boy Entertainment has had the last laugh after Bennie Man touched down at Entebbe Airport at 4:00 am this morning

The singer is no stranger to the Ugandan music scene as this will be Beenie Man’s second performance in Uganda following the unforgettable Kyadondo Rugby Club rave in December 2009.

The Jamaican will be gracing Lugogo Cricket Oval as a headline act on  November 11, 2022 in a show dubbed House of Music.

Beenie Man had his first single in Jamaica in 1993 with ‘Matie’, and won the DJ of the Year Award the same year, the first of eight consecutive awards.
