In this video, Fresh Kid treads a sensitive line, with the Catholic costumes that rock the music video. But well, all awesome things in life started off by treading the scary lines. The video is also a statement that Fresh Kid is ready for the big stage. The video is themed around the Catholic Church setting, Fresh Kid plays the role of the Catholic priest sending out rap bars. There is that short appearance of ‘Fresh Daddy’ in his reggae outfit. And then, there is the Triplets.
We witness magic as the video peaks and the kids break out into comical dances. These young ‘nuns’ and ‘Brothers’ are enchanted with wide smiles and crazy dance moves. It is lovely watching the young souls come alive. Not so often you get a clean music video. Could it be sending out a bigger message? Is Mazima beyond just mazima?
