Luxury Africa Tours, a tour and travel company based in Rwanda was on Saturday announced as the best luxury tour company in the East African region at the World Luxury Travel Awards 2022.
The World Luxury Travel Awards is a recognized global organization which aims to highlight, reward and promote the best in the luxury travel and tourism sector.
Luxury Africa Tours won the award courtesy of Ms Lillian Komuhangwe, a Ugandan based in Rwanda, also, the company’s proprietor.
Speaking to Sqoop, Ms Lillian explained that she chose to operate in Rwanda because she started her career there, the country is a Luxury destination and also, and she understands Rwanda’s tourism sector more than that of Uganda.
The tour and travel company stood unopposed during the award nominations that were done in August 2022.
