Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika undergoes body surgery over health risks

Kenya socialite, Vera Sidika Mung’asia has left a section of her followers disappointed after undergoing a booty reduction surgery. The renowned media personality and video vixen on Wednesday, October 5 took to social media to pen a deep post announcing that she decided to reduce her famous hips due to health-related risks.

Sikida has described the body surgery journey as the “hardest phase” of her life that she has come to terms with. “This has been the hardest phase in my life, due to a health risk, I had to undergo surgery. It’s still very unbelievable but I’ve come to terms with it and learnt to love myself regardless.” Sidika’s post reads in part.

The socialite who has suffered from depression says she did not celebrate this year’s birthday following the life-changing surgery. The socialite further lauded her husband for his support during the trying times.

“I’m lucky to be alive, God loves me so much. Honestly, it’s been pretty hard, I didn’t even celebrate my birthday this year, but here we are. I’ve come to appreciate life and never take things for granted. Thanks to my family, especially my husband for being there for me,” the post reads further. While addressing a section of her followers that was not happy with her booty reduction, Sidika assured them that she is the same, adding that she has not changed.

She further advised young ladies love themselves more before urging them not to do things out of peer pressure. Sidika Rose to fame in 2013 when she featured in P-Unit’s ‘You Guy’ music video.
