Nigerian artiste Divine Ikubor, popularly known by his stage name Rema, (Redeeming Everything Music Around) is in Uganda ahead of his performance at cricket Oval on Saturday evening.

Rema, famously known for his ‘Calm down’ song is among the 60 artistes going to perform at the Afropalooza festival which is aimed at celebrating Uganda’s 60th Independence.

While at a press conference at Sheraton Hotel Kampala, Rema was requested to give a piece of advice to the youths in Uganda as he also falls in the same category.

Rema asked the youths to be calm and keep going no matter the hurdles in life.

“I would like to tell the youth that you are the future and we have so much power in us. Just keep going because those who love you will love you while others will hate you,” he said.

The artiste who is signed with Jonzing World, a subsidiary of Mavin Records also added that unity is one of the most important aspects in life. He went ahead to say that despite the competitiveness of Nigerians, they are still united and that is why they can top charts across the world.
