The trench coat is one of those pieces that will do a lot if not most of the talking for your outfit and it all comes down to how you wear it. While it serves as simply a layering piece, it can also quickly be the best way to have the most fashion-forward look. Here is how you can achieve this.
Employ some colour
The one way you can pull off your trench coat and have a look that is unforgettable is by wearing it with some colour.
What this does is that it can set the pace for the rest of the look, but also give you a beautiful ensemble overall. For instance, if you are choosing to keep your look muted and minimalist, then adding your trench in a hue such as red, green or even burnt orange allows for your somewhat basic look to receive some much-needed character.
