By now, the script is obvious when it comes to love-oriented music videos. You pick one of those tourist cottages, throw in the couple and press record. In the Low video, it is not any different. Latinum, the vixen in the cottage, Kenzo standing outside and then a run through the different scenes at this location.
Perhaps the question then is; have we reached the mark of creativity in Ugandan music videos? Have we stopped dreaming and creating new concepts?
Or perhaps we should give it to those long nail extensions? Latinum’s white T-shirts? The vixen’s bikers? The night scenes do not redeem the video in any way. This song is titled Low and no wonder it digs itself ‘low’ when it comes to the video. Art needs redemption, and music videos ought to take the first shot at this redemption.
