Even with the success of the the Jazz Safari picnic at Kampala Serena Hotel gardens a few months ago, prominent events promoter and musician Tshaka Mayanja has not forgotten about events before the show.
While being hosted on Dembe FM’s Talk and Talk show, Tshaka said Juliana Kanyomozi pulling out as the headlining act set a bad precedent in his more than 30 years of holding events and he will live to remember that moment.
“It was the first time a thing like that has happened in my life. Never before has an artiste refused to perform at my event and it broke my heart. Yes it was a very successful show but I almost cried when I was on that stage because it set a bad precedent,” Tshaka said.
