More Hollywood stars to visit Uganda

Abbey Rafsanjan

Believe it or not, Hollywood celebrities love to go on a safari just as much as we normal folks would love to visit Hollywood.

We just had Terrence Howard and his wife in Uganda and these people need someone who can put their luxurious needs together and keep everything interesting and safe. That is why when the Emmy awards and GBK Brand Bar, a Hollywood production company, struck a deal with Lush Africa Safaris, it was a match made in Hollywood heaven.

Lush Africa Safaris is a US-based and Africa-operating safari company owned by our very own Abbey Rafsanjan.

Sqoop understands that Rafsanjan visited Hollywood where he met and struck a partnership with GBK founder Gavin Keilly to promote East African countries in Hollywood.

Rafsanjan will attend the leading awards events where he will showcase what East Africa has to offer in terms of tourism and business opportunities.

“A celebrity and their entourage will visit an East African country where they will go on a safari and participate in charity activities as well,” Rafsanjan said. “This partnership will go a long way in promoting destination East Africa. While countries spend millions of dollars to buy advertising space, this is a chance for our countries to use their natural attractions to attract the attention they deserve.”

The contract with GBK covers Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and DR Congo.
