Artiste Evelyn Lagu has today fainted at Muganzirwaza where she’s organizing her ‘An Evening with Evelyn Love’ concert. Lagu, who is still gathering funds for her treatment, fainted after hearing rumors that her concert might be stopped from happening without any clear reasons.
Due to so much traffic on the road, the ‘Sikyatya’ artiste was rushed to Kiruddu referral hospital on Salaama Rd. Lagu has been battling sickness for over four years and has been in and out of hospital time and again.
It is said she is suffering from kidney and heart sickness which saw various fundraising drives organized for her in the past.
Her most successful drive was held at Papaz Spot where over shs60million was raised to see her get a kidney transplant in Turkey but that never went through as doctors told her that her body will not manage due to her immunity.
