News reaching us indicate that Bongo star Naseeb Abdul alias Diamond Platnumz has purchased an island for himself.
Diamond has now achieved yet another one of his dreams after he bought a private island in Zanzibar. The singer shared a series of videos via his Insta Stories on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, to update his fans about the achievement. In the short clip captioned “It was a dream”, the singer is seen walking across the beach.
According to reports, the singer purchased the island in Zanzibar for Ksh 92M approximately Shs2.9 Billion.
Following the acquisition of the prime land, the singer is reportedly planning on setting up a high-end hotel on the island, a move that will boost the tourism business in Zanzibar.
It is no doubt that the Tanzanian crooner is one of the richest musicians in East Africa as he has demonstrated how wealthy he is through his expensive assets.
The singer showcases his wealth by purchasing expensive valuables such as jewelry and cars. In November 2021, Diamond flaunted a jewelry set estimated at KSh 30 million (UGX 97M). He flaunted four diamond-encrusted bracelets and five rings which spell ‘Simba’ which is his nickname.

In July 2021, the musician bought his dream car, Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge 2021. The blue Rolls Royce Cullinan Black Badge 2021, manufactured by Rolls-Royce Limited based in Manchester, United Kingdom, was delivered at his KSh 70 million (Shs2.2 billion) rented mansion in Mbezi Beach, Dar es Salaam.
He recently revealed that he is planning to buy a private jet this year.
