Video:‘Summer time’ – Willar Stary

Edwin Ninsiima aka Willar Stary

Breaking out in Uganda’s music industry is not as easy as people think. A lot of things have to be put into play for someone to get a hit song. Well, some songs break out because of luck while others hit because of quite a number of aspects. Aspects like the style of music, season, and message in the song among others.

For Edwin Ninsiima aka Willar Stary, having one Daddy Andre on his song was his best shot at penetrating the industry and so far so good.

A month since the release of the video, the ‘Summertime’ song has been viewed a little over 15,000 times and counting. Not bad for a new artiste and credit goes to Daddy Andre as well for producing this song.

The comments on the song are encouraging and that’s perhaps what Willy needs to steer ahead.

He is born and raised in Mengo and was the last born of three children. He went to University but never graduated due to a change of career direction and is currently signed under Risky Music. He has another project dubbed ‘Malaika’ and is working on many others.
