Was Chameleone right to rant at Muhoozi’s birthday?

Jose Chameleone was the headlining act on Saturday during Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s pre-birthday bash at Lugogo Cricket Oval but he spent most of the time ranting rather than performing.

His rant was sparked off by some Ugandans in South Africa who vowed never to allow him perform in South Africa if he goes ahead and performs at Muhoozi’s birthday.

“I’m here to sing because of my friend Toyota. You all remember he gave me a Range Rover. Some of you were not happy. But I don’t care. I am here to sing because of Muhoozi. Tonyumiza Kamwokya Tumbavu! I make my choices. Some of you want to make decisions for me. I won’t accept that,” he bitterly said.

“Some people have been saying that I won’t sing in South Africa or any other places if I perform here at Muhoozi’s birthday, hmmm, no one can bully me. I will perform wherever I want,” said a bitter Chameleone.

He added that politics shouldn’t be mixed with music and that he will never contest in politics again after he failed the first time which forced him to return to music where he’s a general. So, over to you…
