Information reaching us is that former Club Beer marketing guru Shem Ssemambo is currently hospitalized and fighting for his life, battling Transverse Myelitis disease.

Shem is reportedly admitted in ICU at IParamount hospital where he has been for over a month and faced with financial constraints.

Ssemambo’s predicament was brought to public attention through social media by one of his Old Boys (OB) at Busoga College Mwiri.

“Dear Mwirians. Let’s do this. OB Shem Ssemambo of class 1985 Mwiri Primary School & Class 1986- 1992 Busoga College Mwir (Wako House) is admitted in IParamount ICU having been diagnosed with a rare disease called Transverse Myelitis. Shem is partially paralyzed and remains in a critical condition and he is to be a long – stay patient in hospital,” Henry Mugisha said.

He added: “You’re financial and spiritual support towards meeting the hospital bills and welfare is welcome.”

Shem Ssemambo’s influence on Club Beer was reasonably noticeable after he somehow lifted the beer brand using his marketing strategies.

Shem was hands-on and would sponsor theme nights and other such events in clubs like Silk, Angenoir etc

Those intending to help may send their contribution to any of Mugisha’s phone numbers (0772515397 or 0701515397) registered in the names of Mugisha Henry.
