Hollywood star Djimon Hounsou

The list of celebrities visiting Uganda and leaving unnoticed continues to grow with Hollywood star Djimon Hounsou being the latest.

Hounsou spent the weekend in Uganda but only a few people knew about his visit. According to an appreciation post, the actor spent the whole time in Mbarara at Emburara Farm Lodge Chimpundu Lodge.

“Thank you, Djimon Hounsou, for your love and interest in visiting us & experiencing #lifeonthefarm. We look forward to hosting you at #EmburaraLodges Emburara Farm Lodge Chimpundu Lodge,” the farm lodge posted a pic of him with some of the lodge management.

Djimon Gaston Hounsou is a Beninese-American actor and model behind movies like Blood diamond, Kingsman, Guardians of the Galaxy, Amistad, Shazam, Constantine, Furious 7, The Island, and Captain Marvel among others.

He began his career appearing in music videos and made his film debut in Without You I’m Nothing and earned widespread recognition for his role as Cinqué in the Steven Spielberg film Amistad.
