At the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, many wrote Nexus Lounge off when it came to bar business.
This followed the death of Ivan Kakooza the proprietor in October 2020. They however were wrong. The popular hangout in Najjera has since taken on new management and after its grand opening a few weeks ago, it’s committed to giving revelers nothing but the best when it comes to enjoyments.
On Friday evening, the hangout hosted Just Got Paid Friday that was headlined by Swangz Avenue singer Vinka. Thirsty revelers thronged the hangout and danced the night away.
Vinka excited revelers with her performance that left them begging for more. She performed ‘Sure’, ‘Sweet Love’, ‘Love Panic’, ‘Chips na KetchUp’ and her new song ‘Fimbo’. The singer concluded her performance with her hit single ‘Thank God’ which her fans asked to be performed again and she obliged.
Vinka then left the stage for Selector Jeff who took on the already excited crowd. Earlier in the night, DJ Alisha, DJ Mato, Rayan DJ, DJ Hot, DJ NellySting, and DJ Clive had warmed up the night for the main act of the night.
Just Got Paid Friday is a night that happens every first Friday of the night.
