Another Dee in the music industry

Shivon Dee is the name you might want to remember a few years from now as Uganda’s biggest music export. At least that is how her father sees it.

What Ragga Dee has failed to do, his daughter might just be here to correct, as the veteran musician has decided to introduce his daughter Shivon Mirembe to the music industry.

“I call upon parents everywhere to always support their children in their talents. Don’t shield them from exhibiting what they are interested in, whether singing or something else. Don’t deter your child from singing because it’s a talent. I have allowed my daughter because it is what she wants but I have given her a condition to go to school as well. You never know they might become the next Michael Jackson,” said Ragga Dee.

The Digida singer, however, cleared the air on influencing his child, saying he discussed with her the advantages and disadvantages of the industry before she weighed her options.
