According to Mun G, Ugandan awards are dead. Previously, he says Ugandan awards pushed artistes to go back to the studio and make good music but that is not the case today.
“You see how Afrima awards, those who went there came back disappointed. They bought their own tickets etc. The first PAM Awards awarded the Hip Hop category to Obsessions.”
He further stated that awards is a business today and that people on the committees of these awards don’t exactly know what they are doing.
