Spice Diana out of Ugandan awards

For the years Spice Diana has been in the music industry, she has won several accolades and she has been embracing them time and again but going forward, you might never see her name featured in any local awards or nominations.

Why? She is no longer interested. Period!

“Spice Diana is a brand. I invest in this brand. It’s not about the songs I sing. I get paid by companies that trust me. My music pays me. Never put me in your awards until further notice. Going forward if you want to include me in any awards, reach out to my management for consent but from today, if I see my name in any Ugandan awards without consent my dear..,” she warned while appearing on a local TV station recently.

This decision came a few days after the singer missed out on any award at the just-concluded Janzi awards.

She now joins Bebe Cool and videographer Sasha Vybez as other celebrities who denounced Ugandan awards but have always been nominated regardless.
