They always say ‘behind every successful man, there is a woman’ but this time round, the narrative changed. Behind Cindy’s success, there is a Prynce and the former Blu *3 member explained it better.
She said her husband was the biggest force behind her sell-out Boom Party concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval a few years ago.
She admitted that she did not want to do the concert despite having the experience and music.
“I didn’t want to do the Boom Party concert. Yes, I had the dream but did not have the right motivation for it. I did not have the heart to take on Lugogo, so I shared it with Prynce and he told me to go ahead. He was that power behind me of ‘what’s the worst that can happen’. You don’t need any promoter or artiste to support you. I am right here and I’m going to support you,” Cindy said.
She added that the Boom Party concert was 60 per cent her but 65 per cent Prynce. “When nobody believed me he did and we achieved something amazing.”
Cindy and Prynce said their ‘I dos’ last weekend at St Stephens Church, Kisugu and the reception took place at Extreme Adventure Park, Busiika.
