At the start of the music video, you may get disappointed. It’s almost playing out like most love scenes. It is always the same lines, a lover catches another red-handed in bed. And as usual, they will drop whatever they had come to deliver. That is what happens in this video, it starts off on a low of a monotony.
However, the video finally finds its recovery point. That wedding scene at the lakeside salvages everything. It is the poor transition from a scene of pessimism to one of optimism that almost kills the mood of this video.
Perhaps the better alternative would be to have the wedding scene take on the central role right from the start. For this is not a video to relieve the past, it is the video around a hopeful future, a video around a new chapter. Instead, the viewer may think it is a video about the worst in love, not the best in love!
