Singer Rema Namakula and husband Hamza Sebunya welcomed their first child as a couple together on November 7, 2021.
”Aaliyah Sebunya… Ma sha Allah,” is how Rema revealed the good news with a post on her social media pages.
As it is a norm, the couple has been receiving visitors that have come through to congratulate the couple on the new bundle of joy. Among the guests is Tycoon Godfrey Kirumira who has been significant in the relationship of the lovebirds.
When he finally met the newborn that was handed to him by Hamza, Kirumira gifted the baby with cash worth Shs1M.
A happy Hamza and was seen clapping in appreciation of Kirumira’s gesture. The power couple received their first child about one week shy of their 2nd traditional marriage ceremony anniversary that was held November 14, 2019.
Kirumira was one of the city tycoons who pumped million shillings into Rema’s Kwanjula colourful ceremony that happened in Nabbingo along Masaka road November in 2019.
This is Rema’s second child after Amaal, whom she had with fellow musician Edrisah Musuuza, known professionally as Eddy Kenzo.
