A Pass once said Bebe Cool paid him a whooping Shs10m to write his African Gal song. BlackSkin also admitted that Katono by Bebe Cool was the most expensive song he has ever written after receiving Shs5m.
Now it looks like many artistes are finding songwriting a good fallback and among those is Maro.
“I am writing songs for anyone who is serious in the game, a serious one already has my number! Terms and conditions will apply though,” Maro said.
The singer also mentioned that he was open to collaborations with focused rising stars. “I will collaborate with rising stars that I see moving in the right direction and again I know they have my number and they should hit me up when they see this. Let’s grow again.”
