I don’t need a range rover, Stop taking social media too seriously- Pallaso cautions

Singer Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso came out a few days ago and asked his fans to help him rescue his Range Rover from the Uganda revenue authority.

“I need 100 million UGX to rescue my range rover from Uganda revenue authority. If you are my big fan, if you love and appreciate what I do and wish to help me rescue my car, please send your contribution to Mtn +256 781 368 315 now. Airtel +256 704 121 571 THANK YOU,” he posted.

Close to a week now, the Pallaso is shs94, 616,748 short of the required money. “5,383,252 million shillings. Thank you, my people, let’s keep raising the number. Thank you for appreciating my music. please keep sending,” he posted.

His request has however come with a lot of criticism as many social media users have branded him a copycat since Davido had earlier asked his friends to raise N100M for his birthday celebrations.

The ‘Malamu’ singer however after being criticized for the act, come out and said he doesn’t need a Range Rover and was not serious about the request he made. “I don’t need a Range Rover. Stop taking social media too seriously, nothing here is real.”

With this confession, Pallaso said he is randomly going to give out the so far collected to one lucky person on Twitter and if anyone is interested to join, they should draw by retweeting. He however sent Shs1M to fellow singer Oscar of the defunct BigTym singing group to help him with treatment after artiste Bruno K implored him to lend a helping hand.
