The tulle skirt is back!

We all love a trend that is not only fun to wear but also allows us to stay chic at the same time. And that is exactly what the tulle skirt was made for.

Thanks to the just-concluded fashion week, we did see this playful trend make various appearances on the runway, particularly with the Alexander McQueen showcase.

So how exactly can you fit this into your personal style?
Wearing your tulle skirt can either go two ways; you can glam it up (just like the Alexander McQueen piece seen on Naomi Campbell), or opt for something casual and laid back.

With the glamorous version of this look, you can achieve this by maintaining sophisticated and fancy accents to your look like an embellished blazer, heels and statement jewellery. You might also want to choose your skirt in calmer and neater hems, for the perfect look. This look is perfect for a night out, or even the red carpet.

For the more relaxed version of this skirt, the focus here is comfort. That means you are going to style your skirt with something more laid back, such as a T-shirt or bodysuit. And with this, you can switch your heels with something more relaxed, for example sneakers or strap sandals.

This look will work great for anything outdoor; say brunch, or bridal shower. If you need to add some structure or element to this, you can switch up your T-shirt with a shirt instead, for a more edgy look.
