Tooro-based artiste Tai Tan Ug
The 1st edition of the Ekyooto Ha Mpango Festival will be kicking off from November 25-28, 2021 in Tooro. Spice Diana, Bennie Gunter, Janzi Band and Aziz Azion are among the artistes to perform at this 3 day historic event.
They will be joined by Comedian Patrick Salvador, Pearl of Africa stars like Lamu and Sagio MHZA who are also on the list of performers.
The party will however not have just artistes from Kampala but the region will be represented by fast rising stars like Tai Tan Ug among others who will have a platform to collaborate with celebrated artistes from Kampala.
“This will give fresh talent from this region a free opportunity to get their music recorded, mastered and produced by industry professionals,” revealed Aly Allibhai, the CEO of Talent Africa.
In partnership with UNDP, Ministry Of Tourism, Wildlife &Antiquities and TAG studios, Tooro Kingdom also looks to support its artistes in this upcoming festival by setting up a three-day mobile studio.
