South African-based Ugandan socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan has dismissed reports that she held a secret traditional marriage ceremony (kukyala) with another man over the weekend.
According to the socialite, the photos that have since gone viral on social media, were taken during a gospel music video shoot for a friend.
“Hi fam, there’s a couple of pictures that’s circulating on the internet, please kindly ignore that. It’s from an upcoming, powerful glorious gospel music that I was privileged to be part of, invited by my friend,” the 41-year-old mother of five said in a recorded video shared via social media.
