As Uganda celebrated her Independence Day last Saturday, music enthusiasts were eagerly waiting for Chameleone’s ‘I am Joseph’ album which he had promised to release on the same day. But that didn’t happen and no communication was passed. So we contacted the executive producer of the album, Hannington Bugingo, to explain what really transpired and this is what he told us.
“The album is still on but we couldn’t just release it when it’s not yet done. We are so far done with six songs and 10 more are remaining,” Bugingo said.
He added that one of the songs, titled Forever, has been released.
According to Chameleone, the album, which is being recorded at Route Entertainment studios, is an illustration of his successful two-decade-long career. Uuuuhm, might we be editing some songs after receiving a Range? #AskingForOtherUgandans.
