We need investors in music – Khalifa Aganaga

Being a musician in Uganda is not as easy as it looks. Artists sacrifice a lot that if you are light hearted, you can’t handle the industry. Among the things one needs is finances and without money, you literally can’t do anything. No audio production, no video shoots and no music promotion among others.

That is precisely why Khalifa Aganaga says that it’s the biggest challenge in his career.

“The biggest challenge I have faced in the music industry is financing,” he said when he was hosted on the Beat.

The former Twinkle star artiste added that the Ugandan music industry needs investors if it’s to catch up with Tanzanian’s and Nigeria’s.
