Catherine Kusasira
Artiste Catherine Kusasira, is eyeing a position in the East African Legislative Assembly. The Golden Production artiste made this revelation yesterday during an interview with a local programme.
She said that she has always had the dream of becoming a Member of Parliament in the East African Parliament. “I have been reading a book called Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon and there are 13 principles in that book. When you are starting on something, it doesn’t just happen. It happens because you have a dream,” said Kusasira.
She added that she was inspired by Hon Muhammad Ssegirinya whose dream to be a legislator came to reality even after a lot of criticism from people. Asked if she has the qualifications, the ‘Wafuuka bikadde’ artiste said she went back to school and has the papers. It’s just a matter of time.
She however refused to say the school, the year and so much more but said everyone will be surprised. Kusasira also said she is going to be representing the NRM party in this parliament if she’s elected.
