Kenyan Celebrity couple Nameless and his wife Wahu have decided to make a joint album, the first project they are doing together after over 15 years in a relationship. The soon-to-be-released Mz album short for Mathengez, a project the couple says will weave the colorful story of love and relationships.
Besides the story of their love, this album will also include the ups and downs, success and failures, happy and sad moments in their relationship as well in the 12-track album.
According to this duo, the Mz Album Project carries a variety of sounds and topics and the team will strive to release a single every month or so, as they build up to release the full album later this year.
So far, they have already released their first-ever collabo ‘Te-Amo’ that is slowly gaining viewership and listenership.
The two-and-a-half-minute song written by upcoming artist Brandon Israel and produced by Cedo marks the beginning of their joint efforts. Nameless real names David Mathenge and Rosemary Wahu Kagwi Mathenge got married on September 10th, 2005, and their relationship is blessed with two daughters. Despite being together for all that long, the couple had never been together on a project.
“Covid pandemic got us working together for the first time. Maybe we wouldn’t have thought about it if it wasn’t for Covid but the pandemic brought us together. We spent so much time together and let’s hope the long wait is worth it,” said Nameless recently in an interview with After 5.
