EeZzy denies stealing upcoming artiste’s song

Eric Eezzy

Renowned musician Eezzy has been the subject of discussion online after an upcoming artist named Tristan accused him of using his song idea and beats in his latest jam dubbed ‘Wulira Omuziki’. According to Tristan, he allegedly met Eezzy studio while he was recording his song ‘Sitama‘. He had released the song earlier, but due to the lockdown, he couldn’t afford to promote it.

While in studio, Eezzy allegedly admired his song and asked to jump on the verse, promising to sponsor the video. Tristan claims that to his surprise, Eezzy released the song, changing the title to ‘Wulira Omuziki‘ without asking for permission to use his beats and some of his lyrics.

“He should back off my song,” Tristan said, also revealing that he had already reported the matter at Katwe Police Station.

According to Eezzy the song was recorded in 2019 before ‘Tumbiza Sound‘,  “I was in studio and the producer played the beat for me and I liked it, I asked him if its ok for me to take on the beat and he was ok with it,”Eezzy said in his defense.

He disagreed with what Tristan is saying and says they will finish everything at the police station. “I have already reported myself to police and I believe we will settle it. If Tristan wants to work with me, he should ask me for a collabo in good faith instead of going to the media,” Eezzy told Spark TV.
