Newly opened Noor’s Restaurant brings taste of Egypt to Kampala

A new restaurant has opened its doors to Kampalans at Kingdom Kampala mall, a plush rental property located on Nile Avenue, Nakasero Hill, in Kampala, Uganda.
Noor’s Restaurant was officially launched by businessman Sudhir Ruparelia on December 31, 2020 with the few invited guests adhering to strict Covid-19 SOPs.

During his address, the tycoon urged Ugandans to stay safe and take care of themselves in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.
He, however, asked them not to lose hope but to stay focused.
“2020 has been a tough year for us the business people and other individuals but we should stay focused with our business if we’re to keep Uganda stronger,” he said.

“As one of Uganda’s biggest employers, with interests in real estate, education and hospitality sectors, shutting down our doors to thousands of our staff and our customers is one of the hardest things we had to do in 2020.”
Owned by Noor Hashim, the restaurant’s menu includes mostly Egyptian cuisines but will also feature different fast food dishes.
