Just a few days into the New Year, the Sucker Free Boss is already winning. This was after he got nominated for the ‘Listeners’ Choice’ award in the prestigious MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) 2021.

Pallaso couldn’t hide his joy as he took pride in the great opportunity to represent Uganda.

“My nomination is overwhelming. They hadn’t nominated me in the beginning and I saw people standing up for me but I told them to keep calm and instead celebrate the ones who had gotten the chance,” he said while appearing on Live Wire.

“This has shown the power of the fans and I thank Ugandans for standing with me because I did my best and didn’t disappoint you. You and only God have brought me this far. I wouldn’t do it on my own,” Pallaso added.

He also posted on social media saying it is his fans that made it happen, “Thank you my fans for making it happen. please use hashtag #pallaso4mama every where. we can do this ? @88.2sanyufm @mtvmamas.”

He urged his fans to vote in large numbers to increase his chances of winning.

Pallaso will be battling out with Winnie Nwagi, DJ duo Slick Stuart and Roja, John Blaq, and B2C Entertainment.
