Upclose. You have probably seen her photos doing rounds on social media dressed provocatively and recently causing a heated debate after she appeared in an interview saying she was a virgin. Doreen Kabareebe still insists she is a virgin. Isaac Ssejjombwe caught up with her for more.
First thing you do in the morning?
I pray.
Do you pray for anything in particular?
No, I say anything that comes to mind at that particular time. I talk to God like my friend.
What is the first thing you do when you get to work?
I first check my previous sales records.
Earliest childhood memory…?
I lost my best friend in primary school. She died from an accident caused by other children while they were playing with a gate.
What was her name and what happened?
Linda. We were in Primary Two, I do not want those memories.
First kiss?
I have never kissed.
What is first book you read?
I do not remember. I read lots of books and my favourite could be The 48 Laws of Power by Robert Greene. The book is about how one should lead, using what criteria and tactics.
Your first salary…?
I never mention that because I do not find it appropriate.
What is your current job?
I am self-employed and an influencer of some companies.
Can you be more specific?
I run Kabareebe Models for Charity, a charity organisation. I’m also the CEO of DK branding coach where I brand talent and will be showcasing and unveiling Dora’s Outfits at the Entrepreneur Fashion Week, Nairobi in March 2021. I am a brand influencer for different companies at the moment.
What do you like about your job?
I work on my terms; no pressure and I can easily multi-task given the fact that I work from my computer when I decide not to go to the field.
Most memorable experience?
None that I can remember.
Biggest regret in life?
None.
Best advice you have received?
My friend Bryan White advised me to reduce or stop taking certain pictures. I would say that has been the best advice because his reasons were valid.
What exactly did Bryan White say?
Bryan told me enough is enough. It may not be easy to stop taking my kind of pictures but he believes I can do it slowly and eventually get it over with.
But looking at your social media pages, the pictures are just increasing?
I talked to Bryan White a few days ago. So his advice is something I’m putting into consideration.
How many boyfriends have you had?
I have not had any. I am still a virgin.
You are always releasing nude and half-dressed pics. What is your agenda?
There is no agenda, I just love art and I am obsessed with my body. I also encourage people to appreciate God as a creator because he really moulded me beautifully. Every woman has to know that they are beautiful.
So many people have been summoned by the Ethics and Integrity ministry after their pictures and videos leaked. Have you been summoned yet?
Why would I be summoned? I am well-educated, besides, they have never offered me a job.
What about the criticism. Doesn’t it get to you when people criticise you?
I’m above 18 years which means I do everything consciously. I never go into anyone’s private life and so it is good that they all mind their business.

To manage the tennis complex at Lugogo while I was at university. Among my roles was allocation of resources.
