Luke 3:11 “Whoever has two coats must share with one that has none and whoever has food must do likewise.”

We might all be facing different challenges brought about by Covid -19 but the people sleeping on the streets face their challenges altogether. They lack even the basic needs like clothing, feeding, and shelter. With his career that involves late-night movement, artiste, and B2C’s member Richard Mugisha commonly known as Mr Lee knows better the kind of life people on the streets live perhaps that is what prompted him to make a move he did on Monday morning.

The artiste alongside his management team traversed the streets of Kampala in the wee hours of the morning handing out food and other items to the people sleeping on the streets in celebration of his birthday.

“I decided to do this because these are people who go without any meal the whole day. Besides the day’s troubles, they have more to worry about in the night. Imagine sleeping on an empty stomach. I did this from the bottom of my heart and seeing them smile warmed my heart,” said Mr Lee.

Among the items he donated to them include bread, juice, milk, doughnuts, and biscuits among others. They went to streets like Speke road, Kampala road, and old taxi park.

How thoughtful, happy birthday Mr Lee.
