Five years as the spokesperson of Vipers surely must have paid off for Abdu Wasike. For long, we have known the man for having a strong bond with boda bodas and his feet but like they say, sawa yona… Abdu Wasike will not be asking for lifts anymore as the KFM Dance Party presenter has bought himself the first series of soon-to-be fleet, a Raum UBJ. From sources close to him, Abdu invested a good Shs22m in the ride and will be launching it this weekend.
When we contacted him, he couldn’t hide his excitement as he told us that the money he has been using for transportation to Entebbe for his PR job will now be used for fuel. “I took long to buy a car because of so many priorities. I got the idea in October last year and made it my goal. Every year I gift myself. In 2019, I gifted myself with a trip to Egypt for the Afcon tournament and 2020 I promised to get myself a car,” he said.
He added that the money was all from his savings so if you happen to spot a white Raum on the streets of Kampala with KFM in high blast, go on and peep, you could earn yourself a wave. Congrats Sir Abdu…drive safely!
