It’s no longer news that Eddy Kenzo keeps winning awards even when you least expect him to.
Over the weekend, he yet again added another award to his gong collection after being announced the Best Entertainer in the African Entertainment Awards USA (AEAUSA). The ceremony was supposed held virtually on Sunday in New Jersey, USA.
“Congratulations to me and my fans. I’m the best entertainer at AEAUSA 2020 in New Jersey,” tweeted the ‘Tweyagale’ artiste.
Kenzo was however not the only Ugandan winner in these awards as TV presenter Douglas Lwanga was awarded Best African Entertainment TV Host. “Just won the African Entertainment Award USA (AEAUSA). Congratulations Uganda it’s comin home,” Douglas posted.
Despite the two wins, other Ugandans including Bebe Cool, Spice Diana, DJ Slickstuart and Roja, Sheebah Karungi, John Blaq, Ykee Benda, among others lost.
Now in their 6th edition, the awards are aimed at celebrating and uplifting African entertainment.
