A lot has been said about Mark Bugembe aka Buchaman and Catherine Kusasira’s appointment as presidential advisors. Many people came out with different views about these appointments and what it means to both the ruling government and the entertainment industry.
These appointments came as a surprise to many as they were shocked that Bebe Cool, who people know as the closest musician to the president, was not given any post. According to promoter Balaam Barugahara, Bebe Cool is way beyond the advisor stage.
“Those people comparing Bebe Cool to Buchaman but he’s way beyond that because he is in a bigger position. Bebe Cool is more of a coordinator,” said Balaam in a recent interview.
The promoter further added that a presidential advisor earns a monthly salary of shs3million. “I paid Bebe Cool shs15million for just one gig. He earns more in music so he shouldn’t be compared to the likes of Buchaman and the others.” he added.
