Reggae Lovers not only in Uganda but in the neighboring countries are going to pitch camp in Jinja from November 21 to 23. Their reason for pitching is to enjoy three days of Reggae music and performances from artistes that Humble Management, the organisers of the event said it will be a surprise.
The event dubbed Reggae on the Nile will take place at Nile Nest in Jinja located in Njeru, a few kilometers from the home of Nyege Nyege. Happening for the fourth time, the Festival focuses on giving people outlives to lift up their consciousness so that they can practice living in harmony with themselves and each other no matter their race and age.
The Festival which is being promoted in countries like Kenya, Ghana, Rwanda, USA, Germany, France and Jamaica will enable people of different races to come together and enjoy the latest Ugandan slogan “Party after Party”.
During a Press Conference held at Levels Lounge in Kamwokya, the organisers said that the three days will have different themes with Thursday being African Night, Friday being the Rub and Dub Night and Saturday being International night. Being the last day of the festival, Saturday will have activities like tubing on the Nile, camping, village qalks and sailing on the Nile.
