Leila Kayondo says she still meets Sk Mbuga

After spending close to two years in a Swedish prison, Ugandan Socialite SK Mbuga is a freeman.  This came after a prosecutor in Sweden during a court session on Friday (September 27, 2019), failed to provide enough evidence that the tycoon committed fraud-related crimes.

In the light of his return from jail, his ex-lover Leilah Kayondo has revealed that she and the socialite are still close friends.

In a video aired on Spark TV on Friday night, Leilah said that she was excited to learn that Mbuga had been released from jail.

She also revealed that she still meets him whenever she has the opportunity to.

“SK Mbuga and I are a family. When I heard that he was back, I was so happy. People get problems and get out of those problems. Such is life. I am happy for him,” she said.

Leila Kayondo had a nasty break up with SK Mbuga in 2015. A year later, Mbuga married his wife Angella Vivienne Birungi.

After their break up, Leila filed a case of domestic violence and assault against SK Mbuga, claiming that the socialite had beaten her up.

However, the charges were later dropped by Makindye Chief Magistrate, Richard Mafabi, after it was proven that the two had reconciled.
