Eddy Kenzo confirms he will perform at Rolex Festival

Eddy Kenzo on Tuesday last week returned to Uganda after a month of his musical tour that involved him performing in different countries in Europe. While there, he cut his performances short and returned to the country because of the issues he wanted to sort with Muslim leader Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata. Sheikh Muzaata at Singer Rema Namakula’s ceremony when her new man Dr Hamza Sebunya visited the Parents in Naguru branded ‘Eddy Kenzo’ a love Nigga who didn’t want to make things official with Rema and now he lost her in the mix to Dr Sebunya.

In another recording, he was quoted saying Love Niggas are also Gay people who pierce their ears and dress like women. It didn’t take Eddy Kenzo too much thinking and he ended up owning up to Muzaata’s statement thus becoming furious.

Kenzo who was angry about being referred to as Gay said he will not step on any Ugandans stage because he will only be looked at as Gay person while performing on stage. “I am not gay, I am straight and I have children, I want Muzaata to come out and apologise about that statement” Kenzo said. He vowed to come back to Uganda to deal with Muzaata in whichever way possible but when he returned on Tuesday, his mind was switched to the Award he won in the US during the African Entertainment Award where he won in the category of Best Entertainer beating artistes like Yemi Yalade, Shatta Wale, Davido and Mr Flavour among others.

About cancelling all shows in Uganda, Kenzo said that he had to move on and make money because God blessed him with the talent and he respects that. He went on and confirmed his presence at the Rolex Festival edition taking place in Jinja next month.
