Tthe director of Kyaddala series Emmanuel Ikubese
As the highly anticipated television series dubbed “Kyaddala: Its real” nears its premier, celebrated actor and film maker who Directed Kyaddala Emmanuel Ikubese revealed to a press conference yesterday in Kampala that the film will also be premiered in Nigeria.
Ikubese also noted that the Television series that will be premiered in Uganda on 27th September, will be his directorial debut. He went on to say that the television series will not only be aired in Uganda and there are efforts to make sure it is televised in Nigeria.
Speaking to the media at the press conference, Ms. Helen Patricia Amutuhaire, the Reach a Hand Uganda representative revealed that “Kyadadala” is one of the ways they chose to disseminate information about sexual reproductive health and rights to the youth in Uganda and all over the globe.
The 8-episode series is aimed at addressing the sexual health reproductive rights challenges faced by the youth in the country and beyond.
The drama series features several African movie stars who include Olumide Oworu, Emmanuel Ikubese, Anita Fabiola, and Martha Kay.
Other Ugandans on the cast include award winning Mathew and Eleanor Nabwiso, Stephen Katusiime, Tevin Waiguru, Harmony, Kyomugisha, and Patrick Salvador among many others.
