Big Trill
Ugandans are not known to appreciate hip hop. Yet, once in a while, a song with a rapper in it takes over the airwaves.
We have seen this with Navio and his ‘Njogereza’ or all those GNL songs from 2008, today, and now Ugandans are dancing to Parte after Parte by Big Trill.
It is a phrase that was made famous by Pastor Sempa, yet at the just concluded Nyege Nyege International Music Festival, ‘Parte after Parte’ was the new catch phrase.

Of course, many people didn’t even know there was a song the phrase was relating to, yet, when it was played during the different sets at the festival, it immediately caught on.
But that wasn’t enough, Big Trill showed up to perform the song, he had the audience eat out of his palms that by the time he finished, one thing was clear, Uganda has gotten itself a new rap song to love. This was during his performance during the Talent Africa tenth anniversary showcase on Saturday.
The showcase had performances from The Mith, Airport Taxi and Lilian Mbabazi.
