Eddy Kenzo enlightened about the Law in the Rema-Doctor Saga

Rema and Kenzo

When News broke about sensational singer Rema Namakula moving on from Singer Eddy Kenzo to go on and legalise her relationship with Hamza Sebunya a doctor at Mulago, Kenzo decided to let go. He let it go by wrapping it all up when he recorded a song titled ‘Bibaawo’ and then moved on with his life.

Earlier today, a letter was written by Nalukoola, Kakeeto and Solicitors, a law firm under their client Mr Sharif Sentongo Nambaale asking that Rema and Dr Sebunya should face the disciplinary committee under section 38 (1)(2) and (4) of the Allied Health Professional Act Cap.268 of the laws of Uganda.

According to Nalukoola, Kakeeto Advocates, the two getting married is against the law since it is not allowed for Sebunya as a Doctor to marry Rema Namakula who could be his patient.

In the document, Nalukoola states that by the time Rema and Sebunya met, he was a doctor and so Ssentongo believes he constitutes professional and ethical misconduct.

On the other side, Eddy Kenzo has come out to call what is happening Comedy of the Internet in a Facebook post because he seemed not to understand anything that is going on and why the letter was written. He however pulled down the post shortly after.
