7 year old First East African has got golden buzzer winner strikes back

7 year old Leyna Kagere aka Leyna K will be coming back on stage this Sunday and will perform in the EAGT semifinals. Leyna K’s semifinal performance will not come easy as she will have to compete with wonder boy Ezekiel Mutesasira. Mutesasira also came out as one of the best competitors when he wowed the judges to make it through to the semifinals.

Even though Mutesasira thinks he has all it takes to come out as the overall winner in the finals, Leyna K has decided to keep calm and not blow her own trumpet but rather ask all well-wishers and fans to vote for her this Sunday as she performs at the semifinals. Through her facebook page, she posted and said, “This Sunday 22nd September I will be live on NBSTV from 8:00pm to 9:00pm.I humbly request for your vote. Voting Details will be provided on Sunday. Voting is only from 8:00pm to 9:30pm. You can vote as many times as you want.”

East Africa has got talent is East Africa’s Got Talent is a talent show competition that is part of the Got Talent franchise owned by Simon Cowell. It is produced by South African film production company Rapid Blue and is broadcasted simultaneously across four countries in East Africa; Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda.

The program whose first episode premiered in August this year showcases a variety of talents from people of all ages from East Africa, with acts ranging from singing, dancing, comedy, magic, juggling, stunts and other various genres. Each participant who auditions is hoping to secure a place in the live television finale by impressing the panel of judges and the viewers at home.
